When you invest in a brand identity, you should finish with more than a single logo file. You should have everything your team needs to look consistent on every channel.
Logo files in every format
You will need your logo in vector and image formats, in full colour, one colour, black and white, and for light and dark backgrounds. Include versions for small spaces such as social profile pictures.
A defined colour palette
Primary and supporting colours with exact values for screen and print, plus guidance on when to use each one and which combinations are readable.
Typography choices
The fonts for headings and body text, where to get them, and simple rules for sizes and spacing so your materials feel like one brand.
Templates for everyday use
Social media templates, email headers, presentation slides and business cards save time and prevent off-brand improvisation.
Packaging and print files, where relevant
If you sell physical products, you should receive print-ready artwork with the correct dimensions, colour modes and file formats for your printer.
A short brand guide
A simple document that explains how to use all of the above, including logo spacing, tone of voice and common mistakes to avoid. It does not need to be long, but it should be clear enough that someone new to your team can follow it.
Ask for the editable source files too, so you are never locked in.
